Maintenance of the chair
Bar Chair Maintenance
While the design seems about as minimalist as it can be, the metal bar chair has an inviting and welcoming expression and they are perfect for any occasions. Thanks to the exquisite weather-resistant base, strengthened column and footrest that are easily adjusted in height, bar chair has been widely used in lounge bar, restaurants, cafes, jewelry stores, cosmetics stores and so on, adding a sense of fashion for the space. Contemporary bar chairs are various in many materials and finishing such as wooden, steel, stainless steel and fabrics.
Solid wood bar chair
Definitely, solid wood is one of the materials that looks especially rich and luxurious. The clean, straight lines give wooden bar chair a classic good look, while its durability and low maintenance make it ideal for all kinds of weather especially humid environments. But it doesn’t mean you can randomly spill out any beverages or liquids over the chair, or put overheated objects on the wooden surface. If there is any dirt or stains on the surface, wipe it gently, and use maintenance wax to polish it after. Daily cleaning and maintenance is very important for wooden chairs.
Fabric Bar Chair
Instead of the rich and luxurious style, fabric bar chair presents another simple and minimalism concept of modern lifestyle. It’s much price friendly. As for cleaning, make sure whether the upholstered fabric can be washed in washing machine when you clean your fabric chair, since some of the fabrics have special washing requirements. It is suggested that all the fabrics should be in dry cleaning. If there is some loosing threads, use scissors to cut them out.
Chrome Bar Chair
Steel bar chair base is commonly finished with chrome, for better durability and stability. Such a steel chair should stay away from the damp environment or any rusting conditions, and wipe it clean with soap or water.
All stainless steel or alloy have a high resistance to corrosion. Low alloyed grades resist corrosion in atmospheric conditions; highly alloyed grades can resist corrosion in most acids, alkaline solutions, and chloride bearing environments, even at elevated temperatures and pressures. And pay attention to the metal product whether it is tested through the CASS. Grade Seven is the high standard. All the steel products of Union Star have passed the Grade Seven and above.
